Pastor Ervin Ruffin is a native of Suffolk, Virginia. He is the son of the late Ms. Louvenia Ruffin and Rev. Andrew Branch. Pastor E is married to Pastor Jeanette Ruffin (27 years). They are the parents of daughters Adele and Raven Ruffin and the grandparents of twins Amir and Aden Ruffin.
Pastor E holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Virginia State University (VSU) in Petersburg, Virginia.
He has worked at Newport News Huntington Ingalls for over 25 years and is an Overhead Finance Manager. In 2022, he and his wife launched EJR Solutions and Development to provide strategic and financial planning for new businesses, non-profit organizations, and ministries.
In 2012, he was licensed as a Steward, working with the Deacon Ministry by the late founder, Dr. Bishop Obadiah Colander. In 2018, he was ordained as a Deacon. He accepted the calling to preach the word of God and was ordained an Elder in 2024. He currently serves as pastor at Faith Temple Ministries Apostolic alongside his wife. He has worked in many capacities at FTMA, in the Ministerial Ministry, Men’s Ministry, Deacon and Trustee Ministry, Audio/Video/Media Ministry, Transportation Ministry, Facility Maintenance Ministry, Administration, and as the director of The B.O.C. Dream Outreach, a non-profit organization.
His love for God and commitment to serving and helping others are evident in his lifestyle and work. In August 2024, he became a published co-author of “D.O.T.W. Doers of the Word, Now Serving…” which was recognized in the Christian Book Buyer’s Guide, Winter 2024 Edition, and received the 2025 International Impact Book Award.

Pastor Jeanette Ruffin is a native of Suffolk, Virginia. She is the youngest daughter of the late Evangelist Alethia Colander Stokes and Bishop Lewis & Brenda Stokes, Sr. The granddaughter of the late Dr. Bishop Obadiah Colander. Pastor J is married to Pastor Ervin Ruffin (27 years). They are the parents of daughters Adele and Raven Ruffin and the grandparents of twins Amir and Aden Ruffin.
Pastor J holds an associate degree in Healthcare Management from Ultimate Medical Academy in Tampa, Florida, and is pursuing her bachelor's degree in Christian Management and Leadership from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She has worked in healthcare for over 25 years and is currently an analyst in the laboratory field. She is the co-proprietor of Assurant Health Services. In 2022, she and her husband launched EJR Solutions and Development to provide strategic and financial planning for new businesses, non-profit organizations, and ministries.
In 2008, she accepted the calling to serve as an evangelist and was ordained an Elder in October 2022. She currently serves as pastor at Faith Temple Ministries Apostolic alongside her husband. She has worked in many capacities at FTMA, in Ministerial Ministry, Music Ministry as a Worship Leader, Minister of the Arts and Drama Ministry, Administration, and as the director of The B.O.C. Dream Outreach, a non-profit organization. She also served as the late Dr. Bishop Obadiah Colander’s pastoral care assistant, gaining much knowledge and wisdom from his daily teachings and countless conversations.
Her love for God and commitment to serving and helping others are evident in her lifestyle and work. After a traumatic health scare in January 2022, she was inspired by the Holy Spirit to teach James 1:22 in February 2024 as a four-week series, and later, God instructed her to format it into a book to share with others. She became a published author in August 2024 of “D.O.T.W. Doers of the Word, Now Serving…” She was recognized in the Christian Book Buyer’s Guide, Winter 2024 Edition, and has received the 2025 International Impact Book Award.
